- Teams standardising on one heavier-duty lifter across bigger turbine models rather than carrying two sizes
Can You Just Buy Both?
Plenty of rope access teams do exactly that. Because both lifters share the same release mechanism and heat rating, there's no learning curve switching between them. Many technicians carry the 22.7kg for agility on blade work and the 34kg as backup for nacelle sections or gustier days.
