Service and Repairs
After-Care Service You Can Trust
At GGR Group we never compromise on safety, that’s why we offer a first-rate repair and maintenance service to make sure your lifting equipment stays in perfect working order.
We have seen over 10,000 vacuum lifters and cranes pass through our service centres across the UK. As an authorized dealer for Woods Powr-Grip, Unic cranes and other manufacturers we provide the know-how to ensure your equipment stays in the best condition.
Our in-house team of highly qualified engineers has the expertise to test, service and repair our lifting equipment, whether hired or sold, to the highest European standards.
We specialize in repairs, refurbishments and essential maintenance for our range of glass, cladding and stone lifters, UNIC mini spider cranes, pick and carry cranes, glazing robots, overhang beams and hand cups.
Setting the standards
GGR Group is unique in that all the machines in our hire fleet get the same treatment as equipment purchased by customers. Our fleet is thoroughly checked before and after each hire to ensure optimum performance on site.
Time for your annual check-up?
Every machine that goes through our depot doors is tested, serviced, calibrated and only ever fitted with genuine manufacturer’s spare parts by our lifting technicians. All of our equipment is thoroughly examined, as required by law, strictly following the manufacturer’s safety guidelines.
GGR recommends that compact cranes and installation robots purchased from us are serviced once a year as a minimum. Vacuum lifters and other below-the-hook lifting equipment should undergo one of our rigorous assessments every 6 months.
As part of our testing service, we will provide you with a Report of Thorough Examination with details of any repairs carried out and a date for your next service.
Count on us for the best technical support
We know that time is money, so whether you need help with urgent on-site technical issues or quick, free advice about equipment maintenance, our experts are always on hand to help you.
GGR’s break-down engineers can offer assistance over the phone or visit your site with a replacement machine whilst we fix any equipment faults in our workshop.
